Abstract

The article presents a structural model of a rapid information collection system for monitoring the dynamics of sports injuries and occupational diseases, as well as its role in organizing and managing occupational safety in sports. Statistical and comparative analytical approaches were employed in the study. The frequency, severity, and risk coefficients of injuries sustained by athletes during training sessions and competitions were calculated, while sport-specific risk factors, causes of injuries, and their dynamics were analyzed. As a result of the study, a structural model of a system for the rapid collection, recording, and analysis of data on sports injuries and occupational diseases was developed. The frequency, severity, and risk coefficients of injuries were assessed across nine sports, and boxing was found to have the highest risk indicator. The proposed system enables the monitoring of injury dynamics, timely identification of risk factors, comparison of different sports, and development of preventive measures. Consequently, the system improves the effectiveness of occupational safety management in sports organizations, monitoring of athletes’ health, and evidence-based rapid decision-making. This, in turn, contributes to improving the organization and management of occupational safety in the sports sector.
