Irrigation and Melioration” is a peer-reviewed scientific and technical journal established in 2015 by the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers National Research University (TIIAME NRU). The journal was authorized for publication by Resolution No. 104 of the Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Water Resources Accounting, Rational Management, Conservation and Efficient Use, dated July 24, 2014.

Since its establishment, the journal has served as a professional platform for the dissemination of scientific knowledge, research findings, and practical experience in the fields of irrigation, melioration, and water management. Since 2026, the journal has been published in an electronic format in accordance with modern standards of scientific publishing.

Irrigation and Melioration” is an independent scientific and technical journal dedicated to the advancement of irrigation and drainage, hydraulic engineering and hydraulics, integrated water resources management, innovative irrigation technologies, and geospatial information systems. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, experimental studies, and analytical contributions reflecting recent developments in the field.

The journal pays particular attention to research on improving the meliorative condition of irrigated lands, combating soil salinity, modernization of collector-drainage systems, efficient use of water resources, safety and reliability of hydraulic structures, and implementation of water-saving technologies. It also publishes studies related to climate change, hydrological processes, and the application of digital technologies in water management.

The target audience includes water management specialists, melioration experts, hydraulic engineers, hydrologists, researchers, faculty members, doctoral students, and professionals working in irrigation and agricultural water management. Published materials are intended for scientific analysis, practical application, and technology transfer.
